MEET THE MINISTER

Freda Mathis lives in Marietta, Georgia where she serves as a minister of God's word with the Tribe of Benjamin Minister's Ministry and she is a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She has organized and worked with various ministries in her lifetime, one being The Majestic Mission women's ministry. She is now working tirelessly in ministry organizing In His Image Mind, Body and Soul Ministries, I am "KING" Young Men's Summit and The Unspoken Sounds of Violence.

Minister Mathis has set out to educate the public on the lasting effects of violence on victims and their families. She is an active member of DOG, Daughters of Jerusalem Praise Dance Ministry. She is a fierce tambourine player and worshiper for God. Minister Mathis also holds a certificate as a Grief Coach, which is an extended service of the Bereavement ministry.

Minister Mathis works for Cobb County School District as a kindergarten paraprofessional and has worked with special needs Pre-K, 2013 -2016 school years. Minister Mathis is currently enrolled in school at Ashford University to receive a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavioral Science. She feels this degree will allow her to work more closely with kids who have Autism and Asperger's learning abilities. 

Minister Mathis has seven children and seven grandchildren that have supported her in the ministry and will continue to lend great support to her in the future. Minister Mathis loves God and is a willing vessel to deliver his word.
