This year we were in Columbus Ga. One of our guest speakers the lovely Mrs. Bambi Hayes-Brown, spoke about fair housing, housing bills, and how low income areas can become riddled with violence as a domino affect of not having decent jobs, decent homes, and decent wages can be grave to the way a family lives. She also spoke about contacting legislators to get bills pushed through to the governors hand in order for there to be a bill passed that will keep landlords from evicting tenants if they complain to code enforcement about the condition of a house. The ministry would like to thank Mrs. Hayes-Brown for coming and sharing her time with us.
